Optimal Fiber is hiring a talented Inside Salesperson who has demonstrated B2B sales success in the fiber optic cable distribution business and the technical background to be able to immediately sell the full Optimal Fiber product portfolio which includes: FTTH, Data Center, Wireless, and general fiber optic cabling solutions.


This role will be responsible for handling new incoming client requests including product determination, sourcing, quoting, follow-up to sale, and tracking order fulfillment.


The candidate should possess specific experience in, and understanding of the technical landscape, specific technology, and product trends related to fiber optic cabling.


The ideal candidate must be versatile, with a good blend of business acumen and technical savvy, and a quick learner with the ability to manage new responsibilities in a dynamic environment.


Overview of responsibilities:


  • Daily order quoting.
  • Assist in developing professional sales and marketing tools and materials as clients require.
  • Provide technical product support to customers to identify requirements.
  • Maintain forecasting to allow collaboration with internal resources to close business and prepare our factories to efficiently meet demand once client Purchase Orders are received.
  • Proactively identify product and solution gaps and define market requirements.


Location:

This role can be WFH with infrequent travel.
